How to Adjust the Brightness of Your Echo Dot With Clock
You can easily adjust the clock's brightness in just a few steps. We will show you how.
Many love the Amazon Echo devices as part of an Alexa smart home. The Echo Dot with Clock includes a simple digital display on the front of the device. Sometimes the time is all the information you need, and you do not need to ask Alexa or check anything on an app.
But some may find the display too bright at night or too dim. We’ll show you how to adjust it.
There are many convenient and reliable Amazon Echo Devices for your home that are easy to set up and adjust. You can adjust the Echo Dot with Clock display in a few steps on the Alexa app for iOS or Android or with a voice command.
First, ensure you have the latest Alexa app installed on your smartphone. Also, make sure your Echo Dot device and Alexa app are operating under the same profile and are on the same Wi-Fi network.
You can also turn off the Echo Dot clock at night. Just tap the toggle switch next to Display.
Using the app is great for fine-tuning the setting. But you can also use a voice command. Try saying, "Alexa, adjust the brightness."
Setting lighting based on brightness can help you select the right mood for each room. Some may even go so far as to evaluate light temperature on the Kelvin scale.
For example, lowering your clock brightness might help you sleep better at night. The Adaptive Brightness feature in the Alexa app will automatically adjust the brightness.
Tap the toggle switch next to Adaptive Brightness to turn the feature on or off. Your Echo Dot device will adjust based on ambient light. Move the slider while the feature is enabled, and Alexa will learn from your preferences.
Don't let the brightness of the Echo Dot with Clock display keep you up at night. And don't keep it so dim that you can't see it when lying in bed. Adjusting it is straightforward, and there are two convenient ways to do it.
