The daily deals for Monday, April 17 are excellent. The 48" LG C2 4K OLED TV, one of the best PC gaming monitors available, is now down to the lowest price we've ever seen. Gamestop also has a very rare BOGO Free sale on new video games, including high profile titles like Elden Ring and Octopath Traveler 2. It has more connectivity options and, of course, it's hundreds of dollars cheaper for the same performance specs.

Amazon is offering $200 off the newest Apple MacBook Pro laptop with a 14.2" Liquid Retina XDR display, the powerful M2 Pro chip, 16-core GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD. The Apple M2 Pro chip is a bona fide speed demon that offers better performance while generating less heat and consuming less power than any of the Intel chips that Apple used in previous models, as well as the previous M1 Pro chip. Note that the M2 Pro chip is considerably more powerful than the M2 chip.

Today Amazon and Walmart are offering the Xbox Core controller in Electric Volt for only $39.99. That's almost 40% off the original $65 MSRP. Only Electric Volt has been discounted down to this price, the rest of the colors are more expensive. Aside from the difference in color scheme, this is the same controller as the one that's included with your console.

Amazon has the Samsung EVO Plus 512GB Micro SDXC card for only $39.99, making it the lowest price currently for a Micro SDXC card of that size. This card is 100% compatible for the Nintendo Switch console. The Switch only comes with 32GB of built-in storage, which is a paltry amount considering The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild takes up 14GB of storage all by itself. This card increases your storage by a whopping 16 times!

If you're looking for a Micro SDXC memory card for something other than the Switch, the Samsung EVO Plus is a great choice as well. Its U3 A2 speed rating is faster than most Micro SDXC cards you'll find elsewhere, so it's perfect for smartphone or digital camera storage expansion for recording high resolution photos or uninterrupted 4K video streaming.

The Xbox Series S is normally priced at $299.99, which is $200 less than the Xbox Series X. However, Dell is offering a refurbished unit with 3 month warranty for only $199.99, yet another $100 price drop. The Xbox Series S console can still play all of the same games as the Series X. It doesn't have the power of the Series X, so games are displayed at 1440p resolution instead of 4K in order to maintain the consistent 60fps-120fps graphics you'll find in most games. If you don't have a 4K TV or feel like the $200 could be better spent elsewhere (or in this case, $300), then the Xbox Series S might be a smarter purchase.

Right now Newegg is the only vendor that has a GeForce RTX 4090 GPU for the original base MSRP of $1599.99. The MSI Gaming Trio features 3-slot triple fan cooling. It's the exact card that I currently use and I have zero regrets. Everybody knows by now that the RTX 4090 is the undisputed king of the hill. It's significantly more powerful than any other NVIDIA card out there. It's laughably more powerful than any AMD card, thanks to its support for DLSS 3.0 and it's marvelous domination of ray tracing tech.

Amazon has the Gaming X Trio for $50 more (also at MSRP). The difference is that the Gaming X Trio is overclocked slightly out of the box. The Gaming Trio is stock.

The 2nd gen Apple AirPods Pro truly wireless noise cancelling earbuds is back down to its lowest price again. Amazon currently has it for $199.99, a price drop of $50. The Apple AirPods Pro is one of the best sounding "truly wireless" earbuds you'll find, especially at this price point. "Truly wireless" earbuds have no wires whatsoever, even to each other. In addition to the excellent sound quality, the AirPods Pro is the only AirPods earbuds with active noise cancelling technology.

Crucial's newest M.2 SSD meets all the requirements for your PS5 SSD upgrade. It supports transfer speeds of up to 6,660MB/s which is well above the 5,500MB/s minimum threshold. Yes there are faster SSDs out there, but if your intention is to put this in your PS5, then that extra speed is worthless because you're bottlenecked by the original PS5 SSD. It's the same price as the Crucial P5 Plus SSD, but it also includes a beefy aluminum heatsink that's still slim enough to fit in the PS5 without obstruction. It's also a fair bit faster than the Crucial P5 Plus, the original WD Black SN850, and the Samsung 980 Pro, although that won't make a difference in your PS5.

Here's a pretty nice deal on an excellent gaming PC for around $1200. This HP ENVY PC features a 12th gen Intel Core i9-12900 16-core Alder Lake CPU, GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD. The Intel Core i9-12900 is one of the best CPUs available... you'd need to get an Intel Raptor Lake or AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPU to get anything as good or better. The RTX 3070 is a very solid video card for this price level; it will easily get you 60fps+ at up to 1440p gaming.

As part of its Spring Sale Event, Dell is offering the Alienware m15 R7 15" Intel Core i9-12900H gaming laptop with RTX 3070 Ti video card for only $1499.99 after $750 in instant savings. This is the most powerful Alienware gaming laptop you'll currently find for under $1500. The GeForce RTX 3070 Ti provides plenty of muscle on the GPU front. Among the RTX 30 series mobile cards, it's only slightly less powerful than the RTX 3080. Compared to desktop variants, it's roughly comparable to the RTX 3060. It's capable of running any game out there on the display's native 1080p resolution.

Dell has also pushed out a couple of rare deals on the Alienware x15 and Alienware x17 gaming laptops. The Alienware X-series gaming laptops are newer, thinner, and lighter redesigns of the traditional M-series laptops. These are the thinnest Alienware laptops ever and they compete in build quality, dimensions, and performance to other high-end ultra-thin laptops like the Razer Blade.

One important thing to note is that unlike the first gen X-series gaming laptops, the x15 and x17 R2 models have GPUs that boast the same TGP rating as their M-series counterparts. For example, the x15 has the same RTX 3070 TI GPU with 140W TGP that you'd find in an m15. Theoretically, that means you shouldn't see any performance difference between an equivalently equipped x15 and m15. That's super impressive considering the x15's 0.62" and the x17's .83" thickness. The X-series laptops are justifiably more expensive than their M-series counterparts, but this deal negates that one disadvantage.
